Renegades and The MongolZ have secured spots at the offline qualifier for MLG Columbus after reaching the grand final of the Asia Minor Championship.
Day three of the Asia Minor, in Taipei, opened with a thrilling game between CyberZen - the only Chinese team still in contention following TyLoo's disqualification - and Renegades, who had looked a bit off the place during the group stage.
Still, the Australian side bust out of the gates looking like a real contender, and took the lead in the series with a 16-8 victory on de_cobblestone, with Aaron "AZR" Ward and Luke "Havoc" Paton picking up 20+frags apiece.

Mirage was the map that followed and it was a one-way street from start to finish as Renegades ran out 16-4 victors thanks to stellar displays produced by Yaman "yam" Ergenekon and Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill.
